Bald Eagles

I had never consistantly photographed flying birds. But I just had to know—did I have the skill to photograph a bald eagle flying at times in excess of 90mph? Could I stop the action and get a sharp image. So, I joined a small group of photographers to travel to Alaska, to find out. For several very cold days, in the winter, we took a fishing boat to wilderness areas near Homer, and tested our skills. The answer to my question was pretty clear. Yes.
